Matthew J. Sprunger, M.D. joined the group in 1986. Dr. Sprunger received his B.A. from Manchester College and his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and OB-GYN residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. He received an MBA with a focus on healthcare from the University of Massachusetts in 2005.

Dr. Sprunger is board certified in OB-GYN. He is a member of Fort Wayne Medical Society, American Medical Association, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Fertility Society, and the American College of Physician Executives.

Dr. Sprunger serves on the board of directors of Dupont Hospital.

Dr. Sprunger has been the medical director of The Birthplace at Dupont Hospital since its opening in 2000 until 2006. He is now the Medical Director of Clinical Informatics at the Dupont Hospital.

Dr. Sprunger has office hours at the Dupont location.
