ULTRASOUND PREPS

OB:

• 0-12 weeks                         No prep/ vaginal scan

• 13-36 weeks                       32-48 ounces of liquid (any thing except milk 1 hour before scan)

Cervical Length Scan:                      No prep / vaginal scan

GYN:

• Age 18 and younger         32-48 ounces of liquid - Abdominal scan

• Over 18 (unless virginal)   No prep / vaginal scan

Sonohysterogram:                            No prep / vaginal scan
